Pimms and Piety
This is a rehearsed reading. Pimms and Piety is a 60 minute, religious crisis at a pre-drinks gone wrong. It follows the story of Nicole, an Orthodox Jewish girl at a secular University, as she tries to map out the rest of her life over the course of a boozy evening in. There are rap battles and prayers, drinking games and candle lighting. There's a load of Pimms and a whole lot of piety. Her friendships are tested, her traditions are questioned and her eyes are opened as Nicole's world comes tumbling down around her. Overall, this ensemble piece is about challenging the status quo, championing individuality and the pressures of breaking tradition in a community where compliance feels mandatory.

PRESS & REVIEWS
London Pub Theatres - 3.5 stars - "The young cast is superb, it feels like we are all genuinely at this party with them. Nicole’s dilemma is not only one girl’s question, but perhaps the question of our Age. The packed audience at this show clearly evidences that these questions speak to many of us."
