VAULT is a not-for-profit organisation and a charity ('VAULT Creative Arts': 1198114) which exists to inspire positive change through live performance and creativity. Since its inception in 2012, VAULT has supported more than 10,000 artists; providing a platform for 3,000 shows, and creating extraordinary experiences for almost half a million audience members.

Central to our work are our three Civic Cornerstones: accessibility, sustainability and inclusivity. We implement these principles across our activity by flattening barriers to arts access that disproportionately affect artists and audiences from marginalised communities. Based on our most recent VAULT Festival in 2023, the artists/companies we support are:

  • 26% Asian Diaspora led

  • 25% Black or African Diaspora led

  • 29% Disabled or neurodiverse led

  • 65% Female led

  • 59% LGBTQIA+ led

  • 27% Migrant or Refugee Led

  • 45% Working class led

We're not regularly funded, so on top of income from tickets, food, drinks & merchandise, we rely on donations, partnerships & sponsorships in order to keep VAULT afloat. Read on to find out some of the ways you can help!


We’re transforming a vacant facility into a vibrant hub of maverick art, thriving community, and artist opportunities. It will be a melting pot of creativity, culture and new ideas, creating a safe, welcoming, and exciting place for artists of all backgrounds and communities to come together and create. 

We are seeking funds and investment from a diverse range of sources to realise our ambitious new home, but we still need donations.

We love creating bespoke partnerships with businesses and brands, whether it's building entirely themed bars as we have with Lost and Grounded, Meantime and Liana; to creating enticing guest packages for hotel guests which we ran in partnership with Sea Containers London; to festival wide promotional campaigns, such as our collaboration with Stagedoor which saw messaging and calls-to-action present on posters, handouts, beer mats, and on more than 12,000 reusable cups in festival bars.
