Daniel Nicholas: Art To Die For

There's been a murder at the new art gallery Mayfield. The night after it's grand opening, the artistic director has been found dead in a room that can only be locked from the inside – but the killer has vanished. A real murder mystery.

Daniel 'Should have a future in comedy' (Chortle, in 2013) Nicholas has spent the last year reading Agatha Christie, Japanese locked room mysteries and thinking about Daniel Craig's accent in Knives out. Now all this research has come together in this interactive and hilarious murder mystery show where you help find the one 'whodunit'.

Daniel Nicholas

Daniel Nicholas, is an exciting comedian who creates interactive experiences for a range of diverse audiences. He has produced and created fun and interesting new ways to watch comedy. Whether that’s whilst playing lasertag, or with a dancer reacting to the set, Daniel by no means is a traditional stand up. Expect gags, expect audience participation, and expect something that you’ll never seen before or maybe again.

Daniel he previously toured Arts Council Funded, digitally interactive, deaf accessible comedy/theatre show “Eugene” across the UK in 2022.Which received the Pleasance & York Theatre Royal national partnership award for Edinburgh fringe 2021.

He’s previously been shortlisted BBC New Comedy Award, won best Improv show with Conversation Garden and received multiple award nominations at Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival 2015-18. And recently was nominated for Best Children’s event in Buxton Fringe Festival for his family show ‘Dan Nicholas’ Birthday Party’.
